When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America Prime Minister Tony Blair said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in ... And how many want out."
Im Jahr 2005 sind rund 145000 Deutsche ins Ausland gezogen - seit 1954 war die Auswandererzahl nicht mehr so hoch. Es gab 17000 mehr deutsche Ab- als ausländische Zuwanderer.
